The East Bay Recorder Society (EBRS) is an association of recorder enthusiasts in the San Francisco Bay area. Recorder players from beginning to advanced levels are invited to join, to play music together and to learn more about the recorder with a different professional conductor each month (September-May or June).
Marin Headlands workshop returned to Berkeley, May 18th to conclude our 2023/2024 playing season. Hooray for our conductors Tish, Frances, Andy and Greta!
Our 2024/2025 season begins with Tish Berlin as our conductor on September 6, 2024. Please go to our "Monthly Meetings" page for more details
Our 2024/2025 season membership form is now uploaded to our "Join Us!" page. (Since music is not provided at the playing sessions but rather is sent in advance as pdf's to members, you would need to contact us to arrange to have the music sent to you if you are not a member. Please see our "contact" page.)
Our upcoming season will have a Fall Workshop. Rotem Gilbert has agreed to lead our Fall Workshop on Oct 14, 2024, Monday, Columbus/Indigenous Peoples' Day. Go to our "special page" for more details.
